Union Park
Honoring Workers Everywhere

Purpose
The primary and solemn purpose of the Union Park and Workers Memorial Foundation is to create and maintain a central place that recognizes and honors workers who died while serving our community. In addition, the Foundation exists to educate the general public about the Labor Movement here in the Central Valley—its history, highlights, progress, and future.
Goals
In our effort to raise awareness of the contributions and sacrifices made by our hard-working fathers and mothers, brothers and sisters, sons and daughters here in the Central Valley, we will continue to update, improve upon, and expand our displays, commemorative markers, and landscaping here at the Big Fresno Fair. With always-expanding outreach (and your help) we will introduce our site to thousands of visitors every year, who will, in turn, tell thousands more about the pride we take in the ordinary people who have given so much of themselves to shape the heartland of California.
